The most overlooked and underutilized kind writing in business.
Press releases are one of the most important publicity tools you can use in your business. The more you write and send out, the more recognition your company will receive across the web and your target market. But, if they aren't written well, they might as well not be written at all.

Website Content :
It's a technological world, baby.
And copy for the web is a whole different ballgame than writing for print. Your website content is not something you slap together without so much as a second thought. Website copy has to work for you, your visitors and especially the search engines.

Taglines/Slogans:
The slogan: the shortest kind of writing in business, but one of the most difficult to get right.
Some businesses take the creation of a slogan, or tagline, much too lightly. They think up something clever and slap it under their logo. Scratch clever and think clear. Your slogan needs to clearly relay your company mission and the value you offer your customers. It should not be too broad because the meaning gets lost, and it should not be too narrow because you'll create a unwanted pigeonhole.

Brochures/Newsletters:
Just because everybody and their brother's cousin's dog has a brochure or newsletter does NOT mean that Fido knows how to write one, or the both, effectively.
While brochures tend to target your external audience and newsletters your internal one, each form of communication has to have a solid concept to stand on. Otherwise, you are just wasting paper - and other people's time. I can help you find a concept that won't waste any of your resources.

Web logs, shortened to 'blog', are websites that are more often than not, run by an individual and feature a sort of running commentary on everything under the sun. Many businesses have started to recognize the value of 'blogging' and the semi-new technology is quickly becoming a top necessity in any marketing campaign.

Then by all means, let me help you with your research. I have a soft spot for the concept. My time in grad school gave me such an appreciation for seeking out the answers to relatively unasked questions. All that time (and ALL those research papers) made me a pro at knowing how and where to find those answers too.

Remember that nasty "research" word from above? Well, not all writers like that part as much as I do.
